New Posters Revealed for Rogue One
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be at a theater near you in less than two months. With the recent release of the final trailer, marketing for the movie is ramping up. Disney and Lucasfilm released eight new character posters through social media. The characters are Jynn Erso, Cassian Andor, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus, Bodhi Rook, K-2SO, Saw Gerrera, and Director Orson Krennic. All eight characters are overlayed with plans of the Death Star. The official @StarWars Twitter account accompanied the posters with the following brief character descriptions.
- Jyn Erso. A checkered past. A greater cause.
- Cassian Andor. An intelligence officer for the Rebel Alliance.
- Chirrut Îmwe. A warrior monk with faith in the Force.
- Baze Malbus. Soldier. Friend.
- Bodhi Rook. Former Imperial pilot who’s seen the light.
- K-2SO. Reprogrammed to fight the Empire that made him.
- Saw Gerrera. Resolved to win the fight against the Empire.
- Director Orson Krennic. Cruel. Brilliant. Obsessed.
Rogue One Stills Revealed on New Topps Trading Cards
In addition to the new character posters, stills of the film revealed on the new Topps Star Wars Card Trader app. You can find them and more on StarWarsNew.net. The pictures show characters we’ve only seen glimpses of in the trailers or not at all. From Rebels to Death Troopers and Jedha pilgrims, each photo is highly detailed and vibrant. From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure.
