Fantastic Beasts TV Spots and New Character Posters

Warner Bros. Releases Three New TV Spots

With five weeks left before heading back to the magical world of writer J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros. released three new TV spots. The marketing machine has picked up steam, as the new movie delves into the historical lore of Harry Potter.

What We Know About Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

We know very little about the movie. From the trailers, we see magical creatures have been set loose in America. It’s the job of magizoologist Newt Scamander to get them back. If you know your Harry Potter lore, you’ll remember the name of Newt Scamander from the first movie. He’s the author of a textbook, used by Potter and friends, named ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.’ In this new movie, we’re transported 90 years before “the boy who lived.” We’ll find ourselves following the legendary wizard and author before he writes his infamous book.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is an all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling.

Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”) stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” blockbusters.

You can watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on November 18th at a theater near you. Until then, catch a glimpse of the movie in the TV spots. Will you be watching the new J.K. Rowling movie during opening weekend? Are you excited to see Newt Scamander catch a Niffler, Swooping Evil or Thunderbird? Let us know what you think by liking, sharing and leaving a comment below.
